This is coaching, not medical care. Ryan Tullis is a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach. He is not a physician, registered dietitian, physical therapist or mental health professional. Nothing on this site, in our emails, downloads, calculators, videos or social media is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing here creates a doctor-patient relationship.

Check with your doctor first. Before starting a new exercise program or changing your diet, talk to your healthcare provider, especially if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, a thyroid condition, an injury, a history of disordered eating, or if you're pregnant, nursing or taking medication. If your doctor's advice and anything here conflict, follow your doctor.

Exercise has risks. Training can cause soreness, strains, sprains, fractures and, rarely, serious events. Stop and seek medical help if you feel chest pain, pressure, dizziness, faintness or shortness of breath out of proportion to the effort. You take part in any exercise at your own risk.

Calculators are estimates. The maintenance calorie, protein and time-to-goal calculators use published population formulas. They don't measure your body, and they can be off by a lot for some people. Use the numbers as a starting point, watch what happens over a few weeks, and adjust. Don't eat below the minimums the calculators show, and don't use them to plan rapid weight loss without medical supervision.

The pillar check is a habit self-check. It asks what you do in a normal week. It isn't a health screening and it doesn't diagnose anything.

Supplements. Where we mention a supplement, it's because research supports it for most healthy adults. Supplements aren't regulated like medicines, can interact with medication, and aren't for everyone. Ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Results. Client photos and reviews are real and shared with permission. They're examples, not guarantees. Weight loss depends on consistency, starting point, health, sleep, stress and more. The pace Ryan sets most clients is half a pound to a pound a week, up to two with a lot to lose, and progress isn't linear.

Coaching clients. If you're a client, the health and safety sections of your Client Agreement apply in addition to this page.
