Eat the food you like, in amounts that work.
I set your calorie and protein targets, you pick the food that hits them each day, and we fix what isn't working every week. It's built so you can keep doing it.
The one rule
Eat less than you burn and you lose, match it and you hold, eat more and you gain. Everything after that is about making it easy to keep doing.
Low-carb, fasting, macros
All of them work if you keep doing them. We pick the one you'll still be doing in six months.
What nutrition coaching involves.
A calorie and protein number
Set from your weight, your goal and your real activity, then adjusted from your weigh-in trend. Carbs and fat flex around what you like to eat.
Food tracked in the app
Barcode scanner, saved meals, recipes and shopping lists. A few minutes a day. I see it on my side, so there's no reporting to do.
A weekly look at the data
Your weight trend against your intake tells us whether to hold, cut or add. I send a short video before the call, and we talk about it.
Eating out, travel, events
A plan for the evening that isn't "just be good." Look at the menu before you go, eat a normal meal earlier in the day, and order the one thing you want most. We go over the week's events on every call.
Keep the muscle
Weight loss without enough protein and lifting costs you muscle, and muscle makes the weight easier to keep off later. Your protein target comes before anything else.
Food you'll keep eating
Recipes and meal planning are in the app, and pizza is allowed. A plan has to survive a birthday party or it won't last a year.
What I don't do.
I'm a nutrition coach. I don't treat medical conditions, prescribe supplements or diagnose anything. If your situation needs a physician, I'll say so, and I'll work alongside their advice.
I also don't do rigid meal plans as the default. They fail the first time you eat at a friend's house. If you want one as a starting template, say so on the call.
Get your starting numbers.
Two free calculators give you the same starting targets I'd set on a first call.
Common questions.
Can I buy nutrition coaching on its own?
No. Nutrition is part of online coaching, because the training and the food have to be planned together. If all you want is nutrition, say so on the call and we'll keep the training side light.
Do you work with vegetarians, or with specific cultural foods?
Yes. The targets stay the same whatever you eat, and the food that hits them is yours to choose. When a client eats in a way I don't know well, I learn it with them rather than hand them a generic plan.
Will I have to give up alcohol?
No. You'll learn what it costs and where it fits. Usually that means fewer drinks, planned ahead, and skipped on the nights that tend to run long.
Do you recommend supplements?
A few with real evidence, like protein powder when food isn't enough and creatine for most lifters. I'll tell you what the research says and what I'd do myself. That's information, not a prescription, and anything medical goes through your doctor.
Have it set for you.
